It was raining in the morning. I checked the weather forecast and it was telling the rain to pass by the noon and then there should be sunshine. I slept until 9, had a slow breakfast at the patio, wrote some blog and facebooked. The rain ended and I went to pack things up slowly. In the end, I packed a dry tent.
There was quite a lot of gravel today. The route followed the Biebrza river and was nice as such. South from Augustow, the Green Velo route guided me to go around the town, southside of the lake Sajno. I was considering if I should go to see Augustow, but I thought would not like to stay in the city camping, rather continue further. So, I never visited Augustow. I followed the gravel path, mostly well rideable. Last stretch to Plaska was gravel, too.
At Plaska, there were supposed to be several campsites. I went to the shop again, bought my stuff and then was wandering around. Somehow I ended up in Mora Camping, few kilometers out of the village. It was nice location at a lake. There were a lots of people, mostly families. There is no shower, so I had a long swim at the lake. I have to admit, that as much as I like swimming, I haven’t swam so much during this trip. Maybe it’s laziness as the swimming suit is not nice to wear and mine takes ages to dry. Anyhow, I enjoyed the evening. I had some chat with a father from the next camper, he spoke good English. People made fires and sat around them until very late.
