There was nothing to complain about the campsite location: it’s close to a beach and is served by a tramline. I had had a beer at the beach cafe previous evening and now I got a tram to the Gdansk center.

At the tram, I met a Polish granny, who sit opposite to me and offered me a chocolate. It was cute encounter with a stranger.

I went to the tourist info the get a map of the city and confirmed that there is no boat or ferry connection to Klaipeda.

It was hot and I walked among other tourists in the old town. It is beautiful and grandiose.

I went to the Solidarnosz center, but felt quite thirsty. There’s a bar at the ship yard gates so I went to enjoy a lunch in form of a beer.

The Solidarnosz museum is great, but I got a feeling of bit of embellishment. Anyhow, it’s a good lesson of history and makes one think about the society and democracy. IMG_7419 IMG_2832 IMG_2834 IMG_7420 IMG_7426 IMG_7429 IMG_7433 IMG_7436 IMG_7438 IMG_7443 IMG_7448 IMG_7450 IMG_2835 IMG_7470
